‘Signature’s’ top 5 tips for event organisers to survive the summer!

‘Signature’ tips for surviving the summer.

So, as our Great British summer begins and we all just want to enjoy lazy days in the sunshine, ‘Signature’ gives their top 5 tips to survive the summer.

1). The pressures of deadlines and workload regrettably don’t cease when the boss is on holiday, usually a long list of tasks left ‘to do’ or catch up with or the words we all dread…’can you book somewhere for the Christmas party…’  Just when you want to enjoy the sunshine you have to think about Christmas, well fear not! See our ‘Christmas All Wrapped Up’ blog with the best of our venue Christmas party ideas for inspiration.

2). When looking for a venue to impress for the next board meeting/event, you’ll be hailed a superstar for booking The Mount Hotel Country Manor, the 4* hotel was just named winner of the Hotel of the Year category in the prestigious Midlands Food Drink & Hospitality Awards 2019. For something totally different, the Molineux Stadium, home to premier and European league football Club, Wolverhampton Wanderers ..  not only is the team premier league, but the venue and service is too.

3). With wellness and mental health awareness on the increase, be mindful to maximise opportunities with a ‘feel good’ factor. Charity work, fundraising, and volunteering all provide great personal reward while contributing to the community.  ‘Signature’ work with the charity ‘Springboard’ on a mentoring programme and recently supported the HB Cares charity at their HB Cares North event.

4). Have Fun! Remember to love your job or find ways to love your job.  For event organisers/venue bookers we offer a variety of opportunities to visit and experience our venue partner venues, this year so far there has been an activity weekend at Five Lakes Resort in Essex and a Spice Girls Wannabe weekend at the Best Western Calcot Hotel in Reading amongst others. Attending these events gives a great insight into the delegate experience and builds relationships. Keep track of our events by signing up to our mailer.

5). Finally, relax and enjoy a cocktail!  Courtesy of Five Lakes Resort’s Bar Lacu Bar Manager, Toby’s ‘signature’ cocktail recipe is easy to make at home and perfect for enjoying over the summer, (watching our favourite summer guilty pleasure…Love Island).

The team at Signature Sales Support & Representation Ltd wish you a great summer!
